Tenants' need for additional office space continues to grow. In the first half of the year, the total net absorption volume, showing the change in office space occupied by tenants, is 18% higher than the figure for the same period in 2017.
Q2 retained high volumes of net absorption. However, compared with the previous quarter, the rate of absorption in the past three months decreased by 19% and amounted to 163 thousand sq.m. In the conditions of low rates of new construction, the net absorption will continue the positive trend, the additional vacant areas will continue to be “washed out” by the market. Given the shortage of large space, the activity of tenants in the office segment will increase.
