The second quarter maintained a positive absorption rate. However, compared with the previous quarter, the rate of absorption in the past three months decreased by 2.3 times and amounted to 51 thousand sq. m.
Summarizing the results of the first half of the year, the volume of net absorption, showing the change in office space occupied by tenants, amounted to 169 thousand sq. m, which is more than two times less than the figure for the same period last year.
This decrease is explained by the stabilization of demand in the market after a record 2017-2018, when tenants implemented new projects, taking advantage of the new opportunities for renting offices at reduced rates.
