Transmashholding rented a business center in Khamovniki

The leading Russian manufacturer of electric locomotives and wagons, Transmashholding, took a long-term lease from AEON Corporation at a business center in Khamovniki.

Transmashholding has been looking for a long time for its new headquarters for, says ILM managing partner Andrei Lukashev. In autumn, RBC wrote that a manufacturer of electric locomotives wanted to rent a 15-storey office tower in the project “VTB Arena Park” in Moscow, but that deal fell through, the article recalls.

The company requested a rental rate for office space of 30 thousand rubles per sq.m. per year, excluding operating expenses and VAT.

Lukashev speaks about the range of 30-35 thousand rubles per 1 sq.m. per year - this is the average price for a business center in a similar location. Based on these rates, the entire business center will cost the holding 340-400 million rubles a year.
