For the first time in Russia, on June 7 and 8, the Central Exhibition Center Expocenter hosted a major industry event - the Logistics Leaders 2018 Forum. Heads of international and Russian companies, such as Avtodor-Paid Roads (Avtodor Group of Companies), PJSC TransContainer, EnergoData (Lanit), Major Cargo Service, Russian Railways Logistics, representatives of state organizations, industry associations and universities gathered at the same site. The event was organized by the marketing analytic agency Vivid Senses, and the general partner of RBC Conference.

The forum has become a unified sectoral discussion platform for direct dialogue between key figures in the logistics market.

In addition to discussions at the Forum, industry-specific projects of practical importance, which started in 2017, were presented. The first of these, the Logistic Chain Performance Rating 2018, is a competition of projects among logistics companies and cargo-carrying companies aimed at creating a competitive and open ecosystem of the logistics market through an independent assessment of real logistic experience.

The following companies became winners of the LCPR logistics project rating:

- best practices in supplier management - Alidi;

- best practice in warehouse automation - Protek;

- logistics as a business development strategy - Rostelecom;

- best practice in logistics transformation - Ulmart;

- best practice implementation in the field of logistics - DPD;

- best practice of optimization in transport logistics - Polyus;

- the most innovative project in the field of logistics - MW Partners.

The second industry project, which was held along with the Logistics Leaders Forum - the Federal Logistics Competency Championship LogisticSkills according to the WorldSkills methodology - was organized to solve the actual problem of the competence of specialists for business.

The LogisticSkills Championship identified the best in three competencies: in the supply chain management, the winner was Roman Razov (X5 Retail Group Pyaterochka), in the management of warehouse logistics Victoria Gordienko (Russian Railways) and in the management of transport logistics Tatyana Pashkova (STS Logistics). Honorary 2 and 3 places were taken by representatives of PJSC TATNEFT, JSC Russian Railways, X5 Retail Group Pyaterochka.

A special place at the Forum was occupied by the Logistics Procurement Center, created for direct negotiations between the participants of the logistics market.

Already on the second day of the Forum, we agreed on the potential conclusion of contracts with three companies, one of which will definitely be LLC FKKGroup. Another plus of the Forum is that we were able to declare ourselves as a major cargo owner, an interesting potential partner. ”

Three agreements were signed at the Forum. The first is an agreement on launching a pilot project between the companies Alcor and Co (L'Etoile) and the transport company TRAFT, through the efforts of our own fleet and the intellectual system TRAFT-OnLine, developed by the domestic company LogoSoft.

Andrey Kriventsev, Deputy Director for Logistics, L'Etoile:

“For L’Etoile, participation in such a pilot experiment is the first step, which will allow to fully implementing the electronic document management system between the distribution center and almost 1000 chain stores throughout the country. Such a system will significantly reduce the cost of printing, returning and archiving large quantities of paper documents. ”

The second agreement took place between Vivid Senses and the National Logistics Association, which signed a memorandum of cooperation and collaboration. The third agreement is a memorandum, which was signed by the logistics information portal LOGIRUS and the NGO Leaders of Logistics. The joint goal is the implementation of the Logistic Chain Performance Rating and the creation of a unified digital platform for assessing logistic competencies and logistics projects, as well as supporting innovative projects.

After the business program, the Forum participants were invited to the informal part.
